Sarah is Israeli and runs a café in West Jerusalem. Saleem is a Palestinian deliveryman from East Jerusalem.

Despite being worlds apart, Sarah and Saleem risk everything as they embark on an illicit affair with potentially catastrophic consequences. When a risky late-night tryst goes awry and threatens to expose them, their frantic efforts to salvage what’s left of their lives only escalate things further.

Caught up in the occupying machinery and the constant socio-political pressure of the region, Sarah and Saleem find themselves trapped in a web of deceit that not even the truth looks able to save them from.

This taut thriller set across the Israeli-Palestinian border remains staunchly unpolitical in its message. Instead, the machinations and mistrust of this highly volatile region serve simply as the masterful plot devises that drive this gripping, accomplished thriller.
