Un Village Francais, Vol. 6

Autumn 1945.

After years of war, a peace, of sorts, has arrived, and with it come the commissions and public hearings that will attempt to attribute blame and mete out punishments. The social divisions that have damaged Villeneuve so deeply for so many years are brought once again to the surface.

Daniel Larcher and Servier are first in the dock. In the village, people jostle for position in the new order. Characters we thought were gone forever will return, while others will attempt to make deals to avoid execution.

The war may be over, but in Villeneuve, the struggle for dignity continues.
